Derek and Babs Walker would like to thank all those for their generous support in sponsoring the 10k Run at Tatton Park on the September 23rd in aid of Cancer Research. 3000 people took place in the run and raised £180,000 on the day. Thanks to your support we raised a wonderful £1,111.54. Babs equaled her previous time of 66 minutes after deducting 2 minutes for a toilet stop! I pulled my calf after 1km but being a true northerner I put the pain to the back of my mind and struggled around in a respectable 53 minutes. Once again many thanks for all your support for this wonderful charity. |
