| This scheme
forms part of Bury's vision for regeneration by providing new public
services, offices, retail and leisure units including a hotel, city
centre-style apartments and extensive public landscaping in Bury's
town centre with a cumulative gross internal floor area of around
45,000 m2 |

1a consisted of development provides a new 50,000 sq ft
state-of-the-art medical centre with superb health facilities
including a ground floor Lloyds Pharmacy, 40,000 sq ft of high
quality offices for Bury Council, residential apartments, and a
below ground multi storey car park with 400 spaces. |

1b consisted of the construction of a 115 bed hotel and a 20,000 sq
ft six storey office building. The phase also consists of a large
external works scheme. |
