Walker Sime are actively involved in managing the cost and
programme of the specialist fit out of nine television studios
and all estate-wide landlord fit out works outside the Media City
UK base build. This complex fit out involves the negotiation and
procurement of specialist lighting, hoists and all associated sound
and vision equipment to recording studios and production areas,
which will enable Peel Media to operate a state of the art media
facility. |

The studio facility will welcome visitors to shows and productions,
and part of our works involves back of house fit out - including
audience seating, catering facilities, artists bars and all loose
fixtures and fittings. The project also calls for the
fit out of a number of retail units, together with
several hundred thousand square feet of multi storey offices and
post-production areas which
will be handed to the landlord as shell and core. |

We are
involved in managing all the costs associated with this part of the
works together with setting and managing programmes for delivery of
each part of the fit out scheme within tight deadlines. This
includes planning and managing teams and specialist consultants to
ensure that all specialist software and management processes are
implemented and managed within agreed time constraints.
