| City Park, Manchester |
| Walker Sime were commissioned as Employers Agent for the construction of the City Park office development on behalf of Development Securities. |
| The scheme included the
construction of a 12 storey elliptical office building with a gross
net internal office area of 147,000 sq ft. Also included were
extensive ground works to construct a contiguous piled wall adjacent
a main arterial ring road, railway and river in order to provide four storey undercroft car park. The project was undertaken on an extremely
constrained site with neighbouring ongoing development, Section 278
works and utilities. The project was successfully completed early and under budget. |
