| Walker Sime were
employed as Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors for the refurbishment of Linley
House in Manchester on behalf of United Utilities Property Services. |

| This scheme required the full
refurbishment of core areas, toilets and 5 floors of the existing
building, encompassing approximately 66,000 sq ft of office space.
The scheme also included the demolition of the old entrance and the
construction of new canopy and reception area. Also required
were extensive cladding and external works, and the removal of a
significant amount of asbestos. |

| Works were
carried out with a key tenant remaining in the building. This
tenant operated 24 hours a day, and it was essential that their
safety and time critical business was not disrupted in any way. |
