| The client
wished to expand expand their existing care home and approached
Walker Sime to act on their behalf and assemble a design team. Taken
through a design feasibility process, an option was taken to provide
an extra 24 beds via an extension whilst looking holistically at the
current home. Together with the design team, Walker Sime increased
value and profitability of the facilities on the site for example
introducing assisted living care apartments. |

Walker Sime project managed the design and investigation teams, so
any constraints could be understood e.g. Utilities, TPO's,
Bats, Highways, etc, which influenced the layout and ensured a
robust planning application. |
