Service: Commercial Management
The Design and Construction of a number of steel framed warehouse facilities across the Port’s estate. The project scope covered the full design and build of the warehouses. The values ranged from £2.0m through to £12.0m. They were designed for the storage of animal feed, steel, general merchandise, and biomass. The services provided include initial cost estimating and business plan preparation; the development of the tender packages through OJEU; tender assessment; post contract commercial management.
Generally, the warehouses were required to be completed to a tight programme driven by the end Client’s need to take possession foe business continuity. In addition the commercial agreement with the tenant is based on the development costs. Based on this delivering to programme and budget is critical. A number of the warehouses required an interface with mechanical material handling contractors. We were required to maintain a relationship with the prospective tenant as well as other Key Stakeholders.
