As an Associate Director, you will be instrumental in leading and overseeing the successful delivery of our commercial residential development projects. Working closely with the Development team and Joint Venture (JV) partners, you will contribute to town centre master planning initiatives, shaping the vision and executing projects to achieve our objectives. With your expertise in managing complex schemes and your ability to collaborate effectively, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our market presence and drive the growth of our service offering.

Associate Director – Project Management

Your day-to-day –
- Project Leadership: Take ownership of commercial residential development projects, collaborating with the Development team and JV partners to ensure successful project delivery, adherence to timelines, and achievement of financial objectives.
- Town Centre Master Planning: Contribute to the master planning process, working alongside stakeholders to create visionary town centre developments that blend residential, commercial, and community spaces harmoniously.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate across multi-stakeholders and act as the third-party liaison. Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, local authorities, and community representatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and proactively resolve challenges to ensure successful project completion.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that our developments meet the highest standards of excellence, aligning with company values and industry best practices.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment, and providing guidance and support to ensure project objectives are met.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with local communities to understand their needs and aspirations, incorporate their feedback into project plans, and ensure that our developments enhance the quality of life in the surrounding areas.
Qualifications and skills –
- Proven experience in successfully managing and delivering complex commercial residential development projects within a construction consultancy
- Strong knowledge of town centre master planning and the ability to integrate residential, commercial, and community spaces seamlessly.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and empower others to achieve project goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Sound commercial acumen, with a deep understanding of the real estate development industry and market dynamics.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to think strategically and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- A results-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes and exceeding client expectations.
- You will have a solid background in managing both pre-contract and post-contract responsibilities. From initial feasibility studies and cost planning to contract administration, cost management, and project closeout, your comprehensive understanding of the project lifecycle will be invaluable.
- Preferred: Chartered status MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB
- Excellent problem solving, negotiating, financial and numeracy skills
- Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
