The Design and Construction of a £70m Biomass Storage Facility.
The project scope covers all aspects from the unloading of the Biomass at the quay side, through to the rail outloading facility. The services provided include the development of the tender packages through OJEU; tender assessment; Target Cost agreement and post contract commercial management.
The contact was undertaken on a NEC Option C. The Project needs to be delivered to a series of Key Dates, while maintaining a tight control of the commercial expenditure. There are a number of Key stakeholders who require to be managed through appropriate integration into the process. The construction process requires to work concurrently with busy Port operations, without interrupting them. The services provided include initial cost estimating and business plan preparation; the development of the tender packages through OJEU; tender assessment; post contract commercial management.
