The refurbishment and partial demolition of the existing Regatta warehouse facility in Trafford Park to create new business headquarters.
During the scheme phasing the occupants continued to work in the office buildings during fit-out of the existing warehouse spaces to create a prestigious headquarters for all Regatta departments.
The site infrastructure was upgraded and the buildings clad to reflect the new internal quality.
Challenges from a CDM perspective included the presence of asbestos in the existing buildings, ensuring a new facility that is safely maintainable working with historic structures, and ensuring the safety and health of those occupying the site during these significant alterations.
