Walker Sime produced the measurements and bills for this project in their entirety.
This luxury student housing provides high-quality, serviced accommodation on two plots of the new central Manchester neighbourhood, bounded by Charles Street on the north edge of Circle Square.
Each of the upper 16 floors is made up of 23 comfortable 16.5m² studios, with double bed, kitchen, shower pod and study space.
These studios share a communal living and dining space with a floor-to-ceiling glazed bay window.
At ground level, the residents’ hub is a subtle mix of both quiet and active zones which provide a study space, meeting space and a relaxing ‘welcome’ area.
Vita Student echoes the neighbouring historic buildings, clad in earthy-purple engobe brick slips.
The main elevation is divided into three vertical visual components, revealing the living areas on each floor and the studios on either side.
The wider Circle Square masterplan includes a further 600,000 ft² of commercial space and a 150-room hotel.
