The Role –
We’re expanding at an incredible rate thanks to our ever-increasing client base, so we’re on the lookout for a seriously experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to come and join us and make a real impact!
Based in our Leeds office (with the option to work from home up to 2 days a week), you’ll be part of a team that’s going places. We’re forward-thinking, ambitious and working on some seriously impressive projects.
This is an amazing opportunity to push your career to the next level with the support of a skilled team. Starting out by supporting a range of projects, you’ll quickly get the hang of things before taking the reins and owning your own projects. You’ll be working in the Buildings sector, covering Residential, Apartment, Industrial and Leisure schemes that are valued between £10m – £250m.
As part of our Quantity Surveying team, you’ll be responsible for developing strong relationships with our clients and ensuring they’re delighted with the service we provide. So, if you’re a pro at delivering excellent service and building lasting relationships, we’d love to hear from you!
About You –
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our consultancy firm. The successful candidate must have achieved a degree in quantity surveying and be Chartered MRICS with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will have proven experience within a consultancy and a general knowledge of JCT forms of contract. Experience within the buildings sector is preferable but not essential.
You should be experienced in Pre Contract and Post Contract responsibilities, as well as possessing a confident grasp of numeracy with the ability to effectively communicate data. Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office suite to produce effective reports and supporting documents is essential.
An enthusiastic attitude is crucial, as we require someone who is keen to hit the ground running and has a high attention to detail. Excellent communication skills are also necessary as the candidate should be confident engaging with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will also have a firm understanding of project lifecycles and varying RIBA Stages.
